Umhlanga Support Office
To support the IT Executive in the support and implementation of IFS IT systems both on site and at support office. To co-ordinate with third parties in the delivery of IT infrastructure and software solutions that grow the business and assist the business to become more efficient.
Key Purpose and Responsibilities:
Implementing and driving change according to the IT Strategy.
Project managing IT Projects, both hardware and software.
Visiting sites to support implementations and reviews of IFS IT implementations
Work closely with senior management across departments to propose improvements to the existing IT systems and infrastructure.
Set and implement IT standards and processes in compliance with industry standards
Manage and coordinate the provision of server and network services, telecommunication, and data management
Supporting the Software Development process and Business Analysis
Procure and manage relationships with hardware and software vendors
Supporting remote sites by actioning requests for enhancements, change requests, updating configuration and updating required modules as needed.
Supporting the IFS software ecosystem.
Ensuring adequate training documentation is in place and up to date.
Ensuring adequate reporting on IT Solutions data is in place.
To service IT users requests and incidents within defined SLA’s.
To provide support to all IT disciplines within IFS.
Required Knowledge and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects.
Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems.
Excellent project management skills.
Willing to travel.
