Key Responsibilities:

  • Be an advisor to the camp manager regarding HR matters.

  • Administer the following HR processes for the site:

    • recruitment for non-management positions, including the probation and onboarding processes.

    • monthly payroll completion, submission and variance report validation, including the administration of overtime and allowances and deductions.

    • leave administration and annual auditing.

    • HR and payroll query resolution for employees.

    • employee competency assessment, training plan development and training implementation, including driving the internship programme.

    • regular employee and union engagement to ensure healthy employee relations.

  • Administration of grievance and disciplinary processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or short course, preferably in HR Management / Organisational Behaviour and Development

  • 6 years’ relevant experience within an HR function.
